|This initiative is intended to build upon the achievements of the first phase of the programme, which was cofinanced by IFAD and the OPEC Fund for International Development. The programme's target population comprises more than 13,000 households engaged in small-scale crop and livestock farming. Women account for between 30 per cent and 60 per cent of the participants, depending on the type of activity.
